Dear members of our cultural community,

On Wednesday 11 December 2024, the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Tel Aviv invites you to the opening of the exhibition Parallel Worlds by Israeli artist Hana Barak Engel. The exhibition, which will take place at the Czech Embassy in Tel Aviv, will offer you the opportunity to enjoy the timeless beauty of Engel’s art, which has captivated audiences around the world. The event will start at 7 pm.

Hana Barak Engel is known for her emotive paintings of angels that connect hope, freedom, and dreams. Free from earthly constraints, her angelic figures embody unrestricted movement and symbolize resilience and freedom. “For me, painting an angel is a prayer – a prayer for the world to come back to its senses, for the well-being of our soldiers, and for the future of this crazy little country we live in,” Engel explains.

Throughout her career, Hana Barak Engel has been featured in prestigious exhibitions and galleries around the world, including New York, Paris, Rome, Seoul and Tokyo. Her work has also been exhibited in major venues in Israel, including the Israel Land Museum and the Biblical Museum in Tel Aviv. Her ability to convey universal themes has made her a prominent figure in contemporary art.

Don’t miss this extraordinary opportunity to discover a world where angels defy traditional ideas and inspire hope. Join us for an unforgettable cultural experience that combines artistic expression with emotion.
